(Last time I posted this it only lasted for about an hour… So I recommend acting quick if you want one)
OP Notes:
1) Normally about $20, with Lowest price around Christmas @9.99, so this is pretty slick…it even includes batteries!
2) I have the dig dug version of this brand and it is worth noting that if you do not turn it on and off (via the front button) it will automatically turn off after about a minute… What’s quite cool is that if you let it time out and turn off automatically it will save the high score…(you turn it on by pressing start in that case). To reset the high score just turn it off using the button on the front and turn it on again. Granted this may reduce battery life, But it is a nice feature for those of us who like to keep their high score around… At least until we need to change the batteries, LOL!
3) The batteries that came with mine lasted for a good solid two months of fairly regular play… about an hour a week. You know that the batteries are getting low when the screen starts to flicker… which usually means you have about enough time to finish the game you’re on. But there is no low battery indicator afaik, so when they get too low the machine will just lock up or shut down.
4) Not sure if eneloops work, as I have not tried them yet. perhaps someone will post that information in the wiki… Hint, hint.
5) Dig-Dug is the full arcade version… Pretty sure Galaga is as well, but not 100% certain.
