Amazon Germany has the Denon AH-D7200 headphones on sale for 600 Euros. After all the exchange rate and shipping cost, it comes to about $725. I almost never see these on sale at their $1000 MSRP plus tax.
If you are interested in these, they have some of the best bass in closed headphones. Overall it’s pretty balanced, with slightly rolled off treble. The mids/vocals is pretty good not as recessed as Denon and other closed backs. These are also fairly easy to drive with portable players. The construction in these Japanese cans is just exquisite.
