These are an alternative way to feed a cat. You put their dry food in it and hide the mice around your house so they have to hunt for their food. I have this set (paid more at a local pet store though) and my cats both love it. Took awhile for them to figure it out though.
You can also just use as a toy and fill with treats or dry food. If you do that, I would set on a more difficult setting so they have to work harder to get the treats out.
Chewy’s photos are for an older version of the product. The older style just had large holes on top that would allow the food to come out more easily. Most recent reviews indicate you’ll get the new style that has a way to set a higher difficulty level. That is the version I have and it works great.
