I bought two strings of these for my back deck late last summer and they have held up well outside & uncovered through the entire rainy Oregon valley winter and spring. The bulbs are as fragile as any glass incandescents, but surprisingly don’t get very hot. Solid deal, IMO. Nearly tempted to pick up more just for extras.
