I’m not able to find anything online about it, but our washing machine quit yesterday. After some research I wound up at Lowe’s because they were having an end of the year sale and I saw some other information on their website about closeout and clearance. Upon visiting the store I did find they had most all major appliances out in the isle with discounts. But ultimately I found out they are selling Midea High Efficiency Top Load Washing machines for crazy closeout pricing of $162.25. I had to drive across town but I did get one brand new in the box for that cost. It’s not the best brand ever and has mixed reviews but I added the Lowe’s 5 year protection plan for only $50 more.
On the Lowe’s website (discount not reflected) but then if Brickseek link works, they do pull up and show the correct clearance price.

This is VERY YMMV but I can confirm if you can find one, they should already be tagged for this $162.25 cost and sell to you including additional protection plan, which I would strongly encourage. This is made in China and the reviews are very mixed. But for this cost and a 5 year protection plan for only another $50, I couldn’t say no. I did get it home and hooked up yesterday. Currently working without issue and does seem like a nice unit.
