I bought one at $80 when it first came out couple months ago, already cooked 20+ steaks, worth every penny.
It cooks a better steak than I can with a full size oven, I think it’s because the oven is hard to control temperature and time. If it is undercooked, just throw the steak back and wait a few more minutes.
The default is 10 minutes for grill, just put the steak in, and flip it once around 5 minutes, you got a beautiful steak after 10-15 minutes
Manual says before first use: wash the grill grate etc, drip tray, drip tray cover with hot water. Wipe the inside and outside of the unit with a moist cloth.
Manual dose say first few uses, there might be a hot plastic smell(it is true and it went away after first use in my case)
The unit weighs <10lb maybe 8lb. The whole box is 20lb~30lb
