This is an 11.2 channel AVR with Dirac on board as standard, DLBC is a paid option, should you desire
It also has a very robust amp section reflected in its almost 50 lbs of weight.
The benches very close the $6500 Denon A1H and shares the same DACs with that unit.
There is nothing like this under about $3500, at which point there are some Anthem, Arcam, NAD options
AVS forum member that own this unit seem to be extremely satisfied with it. Thy marvel at its performance from both a sonics and internal amp performance.
I personally own the Onkyo RZ50 and am looking at this to replace a Marantz 7015 I own.
